Beje pamirsau paklausti, kiek turi buti pinigu saskaitoje.?
-As suprantu kad tiek, kiek uztektu pragyventi kol nera darbo, bet vienam uztenka tiek, kiek kitam ir valandai neuzteks.

Pinigų sąskaitoje neturi būti per daug Ankstesniuose forumuose kituose tinklapiuose skaičiau apie tai, kad interviu metu domimasi didele sąskaita banke, kai žmogus dirba pardavėju ar pedagogu. Manau, kad 5 000 dolerių būtų optimalus variantas. Čia tuo atveju, jeigu važiuoji į Ameriką pas nieką ir vienas. Bet jei važiuoji pas kažką, kas gali už tave laiduoti Amerikoje (pateikus patvirtintus amerikoniškus dokumentus apie šį faktą), sąskaita banke nėra tokia svarbi.

O kas žino apie situaciją dėl teistumo,pvz mano antroji pusė buvo teistas,teistumas lyg ir turėtų būti išnykęs,bet...tai ne žmogžudystė,prievartavimas,bet ir ne važiavimas per raudoną šviesą....

Jei pažymoje iš Vidaus reikalų ministerijos rašoma, kad duomenų apie teistumą nėra, tai vyrui interviu metu ar anketoje apie kažkada buvusį teistumą nieko užsiminti nereikia. Bet jei pažymoje rašoma, kad buvo teistas, tada viskas priklauso nuo to, už ką buvo teistas. Jei tai sunkus nusikaltimas, JAV neįsileis.
Beje, pirmą kartą internetu pildant anketą apie teistumą nieko nereikia rašyt. Apie teistumą reikės užsiminti tik tapus laimėtojui ir pildant sekančias anketas.

Viskas kaip ir aišku, tik nesupratau ar reikia 6. punkte įrašyti Lithuania, ar nerašyti nieko, nes apie mano šalies galimybę dalyvauti GC programoje nusako 5. punktas - mano gimimo vieta (Lithuania).
Ir dar: turiu aukštąjį neuniversitetinį išsilavinimą, kokį variantą pasirinkti 12. punkte ? Nes "high school" yra vidurinė mokykla.

A vocational school (or trade school or career school), providing vocational education, is a school in which students are taught the skills needed to perform a particular job. Traditionally, vocational schools have not existed to further education in the sense of liberal arts, but rather to teach only job-specific skills, and as such have been better considered to be institutions devoted to training, not education.

Vocational school galėtų būti kaip technikumas, kuriame dėstoma profesiniai dalykai, tačiau nėra bendro aukštojo mokslo išsilavinimo. Kolegijose šiuo metu be profesinių yra dėstoma bendrojo aukštojo lavinimo dalykai - tie patys, kokie yra ir universitete. Tačiau "some university courses" bei "university degree" irgi netinka, nes kolegijos nesuteikia universitetinio išsilavinimo. Nors oficialiame paaiškinime rašoma: "Neuniversitetinės studijos – pagrindinės, į praktinę veiklą orientuotos profesinės studijos aukštojoje mokykloje, sudarančios sąlygas įgyti taikomaisiais moksliniais tyrimais ir (ar) taikomąja moksline veikla grindžiamą profesinio bakalauro kvalifikacinį laipsnį ir (arba) profesinę kvalifikaciją".

Tinka Vocational school, nes pries kokius 3-4 metus tai ir buvo lietuvoje Kolegija- Technikumas. O dabar jau tapo Kolegija, bet testus jie nekeicia tikriausiai. O dar blogai kad nera klausimo - Kur dabar studijuojate. Nes turiu irgi Kolegijos issilavinima bet po kiek laiko gausiu Universitetini.
