We would like to inform you that we have started the preparations to extend Amway business to the Baltic States. The realization of this project will be divided into phases:
- phase I (4th May 2010)
- phase II (to be confirmed target by the end of 2010)
- next phases (to be scheduled in due course)
Phase I
Starting 4th May 2010 it will be allowable to sponsor residents of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia who would like to purchase products intended for their own use in Poland.
1. Registration process
New applicants
A citizen of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia can sign a Member Plus contract with Amway Poland. The registration procedure is exactly the same as the one applying to Polish citizens (one has to purchase the Polish Starter Kit, fill out the contract form and send it to Amway Poland). The only difference is the mailing address which can indicate a location within the territory of one of the Baltic States. The contract can be signed only for the territory of Poland.
Excising contracts of Baltic States residents
If there is a Member Plus/Member contract signed with Amway Poland a filled out and signed Address Change Form will be required. It can be downloaded from www.amway.pl (look for the section: Business Information/Library/Business Forms/ Address Change Form). The completed and signed form must be submitted to Amway Poland office.
Additionally, fully registered ABOs can run their Amway business only in Poland or other already opened markets appropriate to their tax registration.
2. Products delivery
The products will be delivered only to addresses within the territory of Poland. Even though the sponsored person declares a mailing address within the territory of one of the Baltic States he/she still has to give a Polish address for the delivery purposes.
3. Meetings
Only one to one and one couple to one couple meetings are allowed if they are organized on the territory of one of the Baltic States.
There are no restrictions limiting the access of people from the Baltic States to the seminars and other meetings organized on the territory of already opened markets.
4. Business Supporting Materials (BSM)
Production, selling and distribution of BSM is prohibited on the territory of the Baltic States.
5. Communication with Amway Poland
The service will be conducted in Polish and English languages (simple questions also in Russian).
Phase II
Implementation of the phase II will allow Amway to start products deliveries to Baltic States addresses.
More details concerning phase II and next phases will be published in due course.
