čia ne apie tai, tiesiog RAF yra akronimas, o ne veislės pavadinimas. Marketinginis triukas.
na tiek tai aishku. bet jei naudoja RAF kaip akronima, tai veisles reishkia visai neivardina
pagavo sportinis interesas panarshyti interneto platybes. Kai kas , ka radau:
Forumo atsiliepimas:
My parents live in Spain and my Mum has got hold of a packet of Raf tomato seeds for me. I'll use a few of them, but there are plenty in the pack if anyone else wants to give them a go.
The message from the tomato growers in their village is that raf like it warm and are quite "difficult" - whatever that means - and most of them buy plants from the cooperativa rather than growing from seed. Maybe that means they're difficult to germinate...? we'll see
Anyway, packet says they are a "Low bush. Pale red and good sized, broad and rugged fruits with thin skin and juicy flesh"

Personally in Spain (...). RAF, yes, the name coming from a strain of a more or less brown variety PATA NEGRA from Almeria or Andalousia which have more " ®esistancia (A)l (F)usarium.
But in fact it's more a marketing name for the Almerian Tomato Growers than a true and specific variety. One has its own, thus it can be found a lot of RAF each one having differences from the other. Even buying to the professional seeders.
For me the main purpose of this strain is to have varieties which can be produced during cool and season in Almeria and which can support the degree of salt which is in the irrigation water.

The Raf tomato plant is not a hybrid or a new variety as it was first cultivated in the sixties and seventies. However, it matures and deteriorates very quickly and, as a result, it has not been cultivated on a commercial level until more recently.
The Raf is visually recognisable due to the creases or wrinkles in the skin and its colour which varies between green and red. It is mostly known, however, for its sweet taste which is reminiscent of how tomatoes used to taste "in the good old days".
The Raf tomato varies depending on whether it is grown in autumn, winter or spring. In autumn the fruit is a flattened but rounded shape and is nicely firm. In winter it is flattened and the skin is full of creases and is a very dark green colour. Experts believe that winter is the best time to eat this variety. In spring it is flattened and smooth and it loses some of its characteristic colour as well as some of its firmness.
The Raf is a unique product that is produced in Bajo Andarax and Campo de Nijar, in the province of Almería (Spain).
Manau, daug kas paaishkinta.....
Idomu tai, kad nors kaip teigiama tokios ishskirtines rusies nera (tik del tam regionui budingu laistymo ypatybiu (suroku vandeniu) gaunamas skonis), visgi seklos sekmingai pardavinejamos uzvardinant jas RAF
antra vertus jei jau kazkieno anyta LT juos uzaugino tai matyt kazkokia veisle turinti tas savybes egzistuoja

beje tie RAF dar ivardinami kaip Pata negro (gal del to anyta pavadinime kazka apie juoduma atsimine)
