2. I am interested in hiring you for the 2011 summer season. I am sending you a more detailed job description. Please read it over carefully and if you are still seriously interested then sign and send back the contract which I am also enclosing. Thank you.
The segment of the food service industry we are involved in is unique in the fact that we serve our products from modern, state of the art, mobile food concession trailers. Our itinerary will take us on a tour of the State of Ohio, moving every 1 to 2 weeks. We will be working venues such as county fairs, festivals, rodeos, car shows, and dog shows.
We serve a wide variety of products including such things as hot dogs, hamburgers, and other sandwiches. We also sell pizza, a wide variety of soft drinks, and lemonade. These items are what we consider “fast food” items. Most customers purchase them at the sales window and carry them away.
Your duties could include but are not limited to, food preparation, light cooking, counter service, janitorial duties, placement of equipment upon arrival at a new location and preparing same for removal at the end of the event.
Upon your arrival at the closest pick up point to our headquarters you will be met by a representative of Ramsey Food Service and driven to the current location. You will be provided with any transportation needs and living accommodations throughout your stay. The housing cost is $25.00 per week. You will be staying in a mobile dormitory. Each dormitory contains several semi private rooms and a shower room. These rooms have central heat and air conditioning, refrigerator and microwave. We also provide blankets, sheets, and pillows. There is also a washer and dryer in the shower room.
Dress code while we are open consists of company shirts, hats, and aprons. You will be given 7 t-shirts, 1 sweatshirt, and a hat upon arrival. You will be responsible for keeping your uniforms clean. We are a food service business and cleanliness is very important. We will provide you with clean aprons daily. You are responsible for clothes that are not company for the days we are setting up and for your off time. It is normally warm here the months that you will be in Ohio. Please bring at least 2 pair of shoes to wear to work. You will want them to be comfortable. There are to be no visible piercing except for earrings. Men must be shaven and no long hair. You represent us when you stand there in the food trailer with the Ramsey Food Service logo on your clothes. We want our employees to dress like we do.
Everyone MUST speak English during working hours. This is important for you to improve your English and for everyone to understand each other. You will be working near people who may not speak the same language and we don’t want anyone to feel offended or left out of a conversation.
Wages start at $60.00 per day for managers and $50.00 per day for general workers. Some days are 10 + hours a day and some are maybe 3-4 hours. The pay is the same as long as you are working so the hours average out. There is a total of 1 ½ - 2 hours of breaks each day. On days that we have totally off that we don’t work at all there will be no pay for that day. These types of days are very few. Bonuses are paid to those individuals who stay through the end of their contract. Salary is paid weekly. Food discounts will be given to all employees.
We work every weekend so any time off will be during the week. THIS IS NOT A 40 HOUR WORK WEEK, as we work more hours than that, so if that is the type of job you are looking for then do not apply. This job will cost you very little for lodging and nothing for transportation. If you are interested in saving money this is the place for you. Internet access is available most places we go at the public library free of charge.

11. Thank you for expressing an interest in employment opportunities with Rite Aid. With nearly 4,800 stores, it is often difficult to know which stores are hiring hourly associates at any given time.
You may find a printable version of our employment application at the following link, http://www.riteaid.c...areers_faqs.jsf
For best results, complete the application and apply in person at the Rite Aid store that most interests you. Ask to speak with the store manager for a cashier/customer service position or the pharmacy manager for a pharmacy technician position.

12. Thank you for your interest in working at B&K Bike Rental, Inc. We have a unique business due to a safety code in Atlantic City which limit's the use of bicycles on the boardwalk from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. Many employees enjoy the job due to the interaction with the customers and being outside on the boardwalk enjoying the sights and sounds of being at the New Jersey seashore. The down side is that it is only 4 hours a day. Employees work 5,6 or 7 days a week, whatever they are comfortable with. We have found it is better hiring people after they have started their primary job. Too many times we have hired people and they work 1 week and then start a job that provides a 40 hour work week, only to find out that the schedule does not allow time to work at B&K. We do not want to waste time training people only to lose them after they finally understand the basics of the job. Please consider us for an extra source of income after you have arrived and are situated with your primary job. You might not be available but possibly a friend or family member that came to the U.S. this summer is in need of a part time job. Please feel free to call us anytime during the season to see if we have jobs available. My name is Bob and I can be contacted by calling (cell) 609-287-8341 or stop at the bike rental located at North Carolina Av. & the Boardwalk located on the Resorts Casino Hotel property. Thank you for your interest.
