You know, the number one thing to continue to make progress in your fitness goals is to embrace a process of progression. If you hit a wall and stop getting results, really examine the... foods and the workouts. Can you eat even cleaner or with better consistency? Can you push harder or longer? The key is not to burn out, so be patient and increase your efforts slowly but consistantly. There are few people I know that can give 100% effort all the time (myself included), so there is usually room for improvement. If a few days a week isn't giving you the results you want, try adding a day. Don't be too aggressive because your body needs time to change and adapt but if you always keep in mind that in order to progress you need to continue to do better than you've done before, I bet you'll find some areas where you can improve. Continue to push and be consistent and those stubborn areas will start to show signs of improvement.'
